THE ROLE: As the Account Manager, the successful applicant will be selling a premium quality range of devices, equipment and consumables into critical care, theatre, anaesthesia, oncology, ambulance services, EBME and procurement departments. Typical contact levels will include anaesthetists, critical care nurses, consultants, ward managers, paramedics, and intensivists. This is an autonomous role with full ownership of your accounts and territory. Full product training will be provided.

Their history dates back to the 1940s, and the company has grown into a world-wide organisation with a revenue of circa $1.3 billion. Their UK business is divided into three focused product categories, enabling the sales teams to become specialists in their fields while also having the opportunity to develop new skills by moving into other areas of the business. They are currently seeking to recruit a suitable experienced, driven, and credible medical sales professional to manage and further develop their business within the West Midlands.
Requirements:
* Proven track record selling medical devices or equipment to NHS trusts and hospitals.
* Working knowledge of NHS procurement and tender processes.
* Consultative, solution-focused sales skills.
* A hungry and determined attitude to grow business within accounts.
* Driving licence with no more than 6 points.
The Package for the Account Manager role:
* Basic: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
* Bonus: 30%+ on target earnings (uncapped).
* Car: Company car up to £800 pm lease value.
