As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategy, directly influencing commercial decisions across our specialist merchant brands—BSS, CCF, and Keyline. Your expertise in data analysis will allow you to drive profitability and market positioning, ensuring our businesses remain competitive in an evolving industry.

* Collaborating with key departments: Engaging with sales & operations, category & procurement, and finance teams to support pricing-related decision-making and initiatives.
* Developing data visualisation tools: Using Looker Studio and Appsheet to create intuitive, self-serve dashboards and tools that empower stakeholders with actionable insights.
* Conducting quantitative analysis: Applying statistical methods to identify trends, build predictive models, and generate deep insights from complex data.
* Supporting data science initiatives: Working closely with our data scientist to enhance pricing intelligence and develop advanced analytical solutions.
* Extracting and analysing data: Writing SQL queries and, ideally, Python scripts to manipulate large datasets and drive meaningful analysis.
* Engaging with the sales team: Ensuring new pricing tools are effectively rolled out, answering queries, and delivering training to enhance adoption and usage.
What you’ll need to have/be:
* A strong academic background, with quantitative subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Data Science or related fields.
* Prior experience in data analysis, business analysis, pricing, or commercial analytics is beneficial but not a strict requirement.

* Experience working with large datasets and applying quantitative analysis techniques to draw meaningful insights.
* SQL proficiency is essential for extracting and manipulating data; knowledge of Python or R is highly desirable.
* Experience with data visualisation and storytelling using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
* A keen interest in data science and artificial intelligence, with enthusiasm for developing skills in machine learning algorithms and advanced analytics.

* A creative and innovative thinker, capable of solving problems and identifying new ways to improve pricing processes.
* Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multiple departments, including sales, procurement, and finance.
