Tradewind are seeking a motivated, ambitious Year 3 teacher who is looking to make an impact and excel in their teaching career On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are currently looking to appoint an outstanding KS2 teacher who will be responsible for Year 3 class in a wonderful school located in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside. This is a full-time role commencing February 2024 until the end of the academic year with the potential to go perm. This role offers an attractive salary of up to £223 per day (subject to experience), and you will enroll into a fantastic CPD programme with quality training delivered by experts in the education field. This is an OFSTED rated 'Good' school which encourages high expectations of children. About the Role As the Year 3 teacher, you will be responsible for a mixed-ability class of approximately 30 children. A strong curriculum knowledge is essential as is the ability to collaborate effectively with the TA and other classroom staff. To be successful in this role as a Year 3 teacher, you will be required to: - Create meaningful lesson plans based on Year 3 objectives that will motivate and challenge pupils and tap into their natural curiosities. -Use formative and summative assessment strategies to identify successes and recognise the need to revisit and address misconceptions -Adhere to all structures and policies in place at the school and follow the Class Dojo initiative as a parent / teacher communication tool -Share best practice and attend staff meetings to contribute to school improvement -Uphold the high reputation of the school and well-established relationships with families and the wider community.
