THE ROLE:
Class 1 Driver - Days
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and we are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team and help us transport goods across the country during the day.
THE SALARY:
Yearly £35000
Location:
This role will be based at our site in Burton on Trent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
* Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
* Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
* Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
* Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
