Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for promoting and implementing human resource values by planning and managing all components of HR administration. The HR Manager will effectively plan, design, develop, and evaluate human resource-related initiatives. The HR Manager will promote the use of the Nurtured Heart Approach© in all activities with the goal of promoting a safe and comfortable environment for all individuals within the CGE community and within all business relationships. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: 1.) Comply with documentation and training set forth by Human Resources. 8.) Actively participate in CGE's clinical research efforts by ensuring accurate and timely reporting for all assessments and evaluations. LEADERSHIP: Provide oversight and leadership to HR staff, establishing and maintaining clear goals and objectives while fostering departmental teamwork and collaboration. Ensure timely and accurate human resources activities are attended to including but not limited to; full-cycle talent acquisition, staff engagement, retention and performance management, employment processing, compensation, benefits and leaves administration, records management, safety and health promotion, employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable local, State and Federal employment laws as well as external regulatory requirements. Ensure that all HR records are maintained accurately and completely at all times. Oversee employee training program that evaluates and addresses agency needs, including new employee orientation, and external regulatory requirements. Contribute to the ongoing development of a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment that is trauma informed. Monitor adherence to annual budget that includes human resources services, employee recognition, and administration. Ensure agency-wide awareness and adherence to Ethical Code of Conduct and other employment policies. Participate in human resources counsel and decisions. Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies and procedures, and communicating and enforcing organizational values. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and enforcing adherence to requirements. Participate in conferences, job fairs, and professional networks/organizations that support internal workflow and increase agency’s external presence. Oversee and utilize human resource information software (HRIS) for appropriate record keeping and management practices. OTHER: Build and maintain strong working relationships with all CGE staff and supervisors. Work as a member of a team to establish and maintain a high level of care and respect for, and communication with, community leadership and external customers. Work in a consistently professional manner at all times, which includes, but is not limited to, treating all clients, staff, and guests and volunteers with dignity and respect. Implement emergency procedures as necessary. Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of all sensitive employee information. Perform other duties as directed. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of experience in the HR field. At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. Experience in the behavioral health field is a plus. SHRM certified professional a plus. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with friendly and professional demeanor. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. Team-player outlook.
