Reporting to the Legal and Commercial Director, the Commercial Manager is:
* Commercially responsible for all UKCS assets in the Group's portfolio (both operated and non-operated); including Sullom Voe Terminal, pipelines and other infrastructure and decommissioning assets as well as decommissioning in addition to commercially managing material third party interfaces and support to EnQuest's new energy subsidiary, Veri Energy where required.
* responsible for line reports of the Business Managers, the commercial advisors and the commercial administrator.
* external facing (point of escalation for JVs, regulator and industry bodies as applicable)
* accountable for commercial work on the relevant assets, supported by the wider team, Maintain clear understanding of EQ business objectives, identify areas where stakeholder engagement is required to secure support / approval
* Oversee, maintain and be a point of escalation for clear, high-quality communications with CoVenturers / NSTA / BEIS / OEUK Commercial Managers' forum
* Ensure delivery of timely, high quality OCM and TMC materials
* Integrate internal teams - ensure consistent, coherent external messaging
Commercial Work Programme Management

Experience
* Extensive commercial experience at a senior level in the Upstream oil and gas sector
* Deep knowledge and demonstrable skills across the breadth of commercial skill areas: negotiations, agreement and regulatory compliance, economics/decision analysis, planning and performance management
* Strong understanding and appreciation of a range of technical disciplines and of business services (supply chain, finance), Candidates must be qualified to Degree Level in a technical or analytical discipline or have significant proven experience in similar roles and have demonstrated continuing personal and professional development
