The Opportunity
Be part of the Queen of Apostles OSHC community and join a growing and passionate team. Our Service caters for 75 children and at Queen of Apostles OSHC, we operate in two centres: Juniors (p-2) and Seniors (3-6), merging during vacation care.
Our team is looking for a Diploma Qualified, OSHC educator to join our esteemed team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to serve as a Responsible Person when required.
We are searching for an individual who is not just an educator but a mentor and guide. Your commitment to creating a safe and enjoyable environment is essential, and your passion for fostering growth and development will shine through in every interaction.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service.
* Exercise supervisory and leadership responsibilities.
* Create engaging play-based educational activities for children.
* Foster a secure and nurturing atmosphere for our young learners.
* Collaborate effectively within a dedicated team to enhance outcomes for children and families.
* Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
* Work within a Leadership team to complete administrative tasks.
* Undertake other duties requested by the Coordinator.

About you:
* Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
* A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.
* Minimum completed Diploma in children's services, or ACECQA equivalent.
* Two years' experience preferred but not essential.
* Effective workplace communication skills.
* Driver's licence.
