Provide specialist psychological assessment and interventions to both adults and CYP, addressing their complex psychological needs due to life-limiting illness or bereavement. Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to the individual needs of adults, children, and young people. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of CYP and adults, including clinical interviews, standardized assessments, and collateral information gathering. Provide clinical supervision and consultation to other team members, building their capacity to support both CYP and adults in their care. Plan, provide, and develop specialist patient-centered psychological interventions for both adults and CYP affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement. Accept, assess, and plan interventions for patients, families, and carers, including the bereaved, regardless of age. Take a designated leadership role in service development, particularly in advancing bereavement support for CYP, while contributing to the overall psychological therapy provision for adults. Participate in clinical meetings regarding multi-professional care planning and implementation for both adults and CYP. Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to psychological care for both adults and CYP while respecting and complementing other team members' approaches. Provide leadership and supervision for junior staff and volunteers within the PTT, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of both adults and CYP.
