This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a team committed to making a positive impact in education, providing high-quality HR advice and support to schools and academies. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in building trusted relationships, supporting school leaders in employee relations, policy development, and training. Key Responsibilities HR Advisory & Support: Deliver expert HR guidance on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and capability. Policy Development: Collaborate with school teams to craft and implement HR policies tailored to school-specific guidelines. Casework Management: Act as an Investigating Officer on various HR cases, producing comprehensive reports and attending formal meetings. Training & Development: Design and conduct training sessions on essential HR topics, fostering best practices and compliance across schools. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Trade Union representatives and school leadership to support a collaborative work environment. About You We’re seeking an HR professional with a strong commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, and professional integrity. The ideal candidate will bring: Experience managing complex HR cases with an effective, solutions-oriented approach. Employment Law Knowledge and preferably familiarity with school-sector guidelines, including the Burgundy Book and School Teachers’ Pay & Conditions. Qualifications: Preferably CIPD qualified or with equivalent experience. Skills: Strong interpersonal and decision-making abilities with effective time management. Regular travel across Herefordshire is required, and personal transportation is necessary for this role. Why Join Our Client?
