We are looking for people with experience in the telecommunications industry to join our expanding FTTP Service Delivery contract in the London, South East and East Anglia areas.
What will you be doing?
To our customers you’ll be the face of MGroup Telecoms enabling FTTP broadband for end users in a safe and quality focused way.
Working in your local area, you will install fibre cables in the Openreach network up to and inside customer properties. The job has both internal and external related tasks, so no two days will be the same meaning you will always be learning and developing new skills and experiences.
You will be provided with all the necessary training and equipment in order to deliver a quality installation to the end user. We will do all we can to help you achieve your potential in a supportive and rewarding environment.
What will your key responsibilities be?
Ensuring you are set up each day to deliver a great customer experience including having the right tools and stores on your van
Driving to customers premises in accordance to your route provided on the mobile routing app
Liaising with customers on the day to ensure installations can take place in a safe and quality manner
Adhering to Health and Safety legislation
Working at height, climbing ladders safely
Working in underground telecommunications chambers and in street cabinets
Installing fibre cable up to customer premises
Installing a network connection point inside customer premises
Explaining the new connection to customers and ensuring they are fully satisfied with a full customer handover
What skills are we looking for?
You must have:
Very good communication and or customer service skills
A valid clean UK driving licence (no more than 6 points, with no disqualifications required for fleet van insurance)
Experience working in the telecommunications environment

Creative ways of thinking to overcome problems and suggest better ways of working
Experience of working with power tools
Experience working at height
NRSWA Accredited or knowledge of Signing, Lighting and Guarding requirements
