We’re looking for a Warehouse Section Manager to join our Engineering and Supply Department. This role is jointly responsible for the day-to-day operation of our primary National Distribution Centre at our Headquarters in Poole, which is c30,500 sq. ft. and issues over 5 million items annually. The post holder will join the current management team providing Warehouse and Logistics support across the wider RNLI. Some of the benefits Salary £34,253 - £40,298 (dependent on experience) 26 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays Outstanding pension scheme (contributions of up to 16% of basic salary) Life assurance Health and dental cash-plan About you You’ll have good warehouse management experience and enjoy managing and being part of a team, supporting a national charity to deliver support to lifesaving operations across the UK and Ireland. You will build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders accross the RNLI. To be considered as the Warehouse Section Manager you will need: Warehouse management experience Warehouse utilisation and optimisation experience To be adaptable and responsive to changing needs An excellent people manager with a minimum of Team Leader experience This is an excellent development opportunity for an existing effective Team Leader who has experience of working in a Warehouse, Supply Chain or Production environment and is looking for an opportunity to progress their career in a friendly and supportive team environment. Alternatively, you may be looking for a temporary opportunity after a career break or are semi-retired, and would love to put your previous experience and knowledge in warehouse management to great use for the benefit of the RNLI.
