Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. Your role will make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable service users.
Some of your Duties may include:
1. Provide personal care and assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist with mobility and transfers.
3. Prepare meals and monitor service users' nutrition intake.
4. Support with medication intake.
5. Deal with challenging behaviour.
6. Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
7. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.
2. Ability to work with individuals of all ages, from children to seniors (desirable).
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
4. Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
5. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Valid driver's license is desirable.
