What is the purpose of the trainee technician?
Learn to process casting, weldments and wrought products and eventually after training sentence parts.
Operate Dye Penetrant Line in accordance with techniques under supervision and eventually after training independently process and sentence parts.
Visual inspection of parts
Work on one’s own initiative and resolve any issues or problems to company specific procedures
To ensure safe working to comply with EHS standards
Assist in preparation for Customer visits, Regulatory Audits and prompt follow-up of resulting actions
Adopting and deploying EATON LEAN systems using the prescribed ELSS tools
Attend relevant reviews and meetings
Ensure quality levels are maintained to company standards.
Asist in reductions of Process control variations within processes.
Asist in Cost reduction initiatives. What skills and qualifications will the trainee technician have?
Training will be provided on all aspects of the role
Knowledge of NDT processes advantageous.
Knowledge of inspection processes advantageous
Knowledge of special processes preferred
Experience of working in a similarly physically demanding environment
Proven attention to detail
Demonstrable ability / experience of working to procedures
Demonstrated logical thinking
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:45pm, Friday 08:00 to 12pm What will the trainee technician get in return?
