Our client, a leading nuclear engineering company based in Wolverhampton is seeking to hire an experienced and skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer. As the successful candidate for this permanent role, you will work on exciting projects within our fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
1. A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Experience working as a project engineer with at least 3 years of experience managing complex mechanical manufacturing processes/projects
3. Knowledgeable about machining techniques such as CNC milling/turning/grinding and welding/fabrication methods
Skills:
Project Management
As the lead person responsible for coordinating all aspects of each assigned project from start-up through completion; You must have excellent organizational skills including attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities coupled with exceptional time management abilities that enable smooth coordination between teams throughout different phases of multiple concurrent assignments ensuring compliance & quality standards are met/exceeded consistently while meeting budget requirements.
Budget Control
In-depth knowledge concerning preparation/review/approval/tracking/reporting/projected cost-to-complete analyses along w/cost variance trends analysis reporting utilizing automated tracking systems/software (e.g., SAP)
Manufacturing Processes
Possess extensive technical expertise regarding various types/materials/forms/shapes/sizes/machining tolerances/weld joint design concepts useful across diverse machined parts production programs related specifically towards development/improvement/enhancement/refinement/validation/authentication/integration/testing/documentation/control plans ensurance etc.
