The Role: HR System Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementation Project – Support the implementation of Workday, working closely with the HR Project Lead. Contribute to system configuration, testing, and rollout activities while providing input on system design and functionality.
* User Support and Troubleshooting – Provide first-level support for users experiencing system issues and collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve technical problems efficiently.
* Release Management and Testing – Conduct detailed technical and functional analysis of system updates/releases, prepare test scenarios, execute testing, and document results to ensure smooth rollouts. Provide operational input for strategic review of releases.
* System Administration – Manage day-to-day system configurations and ensure data integrity, as well as maintain smooth functionality between the HRIS and other integrated systems.
* Process Execution and Optimization – Implement process changes based on strategic decisions and recommend system-based improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
* Documentation and Training – Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, updates, and support activities. Conduct training sessions and create user guides for system changes.
* Vendor Coordination – Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors on operational topics, monitor system performance, and report any issues to vendors as required.
* Reporting and Data Management – Prepare regular reports on system performance, support tickets, and data integrity while assisting in the creation of analytics dashboards.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience in HR systems administration or HRIT (ideally Workday)
* Strong understanding of HR processes and data management
* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
