Job Overview
The role is full time and will include various duties as part of the Customer Services team including inputting customer orders, data processing and in-house auditing. The successful applicant must have a strong attention for detail and ability for working closely to procedures. We would expect that the successful candidate has an excellent telephone manner as well as being very proficient with the use of computer IT and Microsoft Office applications.
The position will be based on an average 40 hours a week over a 2 week 4 day/ 5 day working pattern which will include every other Saturday.
Working hours: 7am-3:30pm.
Starting rate of £12.50/ hour rising to £13.50/ hour (plus £500 bonus) following successful completion of probationary period.
Duties
1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
2. Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and policies.
3. Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns.
4. Analyse customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
5. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions using data entry skills.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies while delivering outstanding service.
7. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Qualifications
1. Proficiency in English is required.
2. Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to analyse information effectively and provide solutions to customer problems.
4. Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records is preferred.
5. Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
6. A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work under pressure are essential attributes for this role.
