Job summary Part time - 22.5 hours per week. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our friendly, busy team as a part-time Senior Booking Clerk. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. They will be highly motivated with a keen eye for detail, and have current experience working with IT systems. They will provide an efficient and high quality scheduling service to support achieving the teams key success targets. This is a very busy role and will be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who has the ability to cope with the demands of the service. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will manage the waiting lists and help with patient queries, bookings and cancellations, working closely with a small team of medical secretaries, clinicians and the management team to ensure patients are listed for surgery appropriately. They will ensure all procedures have been followed, providing a smooth and positive experience for our patients. This is a highly responsible but rewarding position and would suit a cheerful and self-motivated person who is able to prioritise their own workload with flexibility no two days are the same and the team work extremely hard to put the patient first.
