Supply Chain Co-Ordinator Base : Stoke on Trent - Hybrid working, typically working 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. A newly created role, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Co-ordinator to work with our Social Housing Maintenance and Refurbishment teams across the Midlands and South region, to support the supply chain strategy at a local level. Your focus will be supporting the Supply Chain Manager in developing an effective supply chain. Your key stakeholders in the business are our local Operational teams within your region and it is essential you forge strong relationships, in order to manage the performance of the supply chain. A key part of your role is to create monthly reporting based on the performance of the suppliers, analysing the data to demonstrate trends and projections, then working alongside the Supply Chain Manager and Operational teams, to ensure we use this data to support change. An outline of your responsibilities as a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator Support the regional supply chain strategy to ensure we have partners in place to impact delivery and operational performance Ensure high quality services are maintained or enhanced, through forging strong partnerships Challenge, benchmark and evaluate current supply performance against external options Hold face to face and teams meetings with new and existing suppliers to forge strong relationships Manage the data to demonstrate performance peaks and troughs and act to improve, where appropriate Grow relationships including adding new supply chain relationships where needed Champion innovative and environmentally beneficial products or approaches Order goods, materials and services in line with company procedures Contribute to supply chain projects and continuous improvement activities Follow department and business process and procedures to deliver best value, reduce risk and create flexibility across the supply chain Carry out adhoc administration duties associated with the procurement of goods or services About You You will have experience of working within the Construction sector, with an understanding of direct procurement of sub contractors and supply chain partners and materials suppliers, which will give you the knowledge to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will posses e xcellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen and confidence to challenge suppliers to strive to get the best market prices whilst ensuring performance levels meet our high standards for our customers. This role may require regional travel across the Midlands and South region, therefore a full UK driving license is essential.
