Greater Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Services (G-LiSH) have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinician to join our Countywide service as a senior NMC registered practitioner. LiSH provides services to a range of patients requiring sexual health and contraceptive needs. We are looking for one part-time and one full-time, or 2 part-time Senior Sexual Health Practitioners. This post will commence from April 2025. The successful candidate will have achieved a portfolio of competences to provide autonomous care within LiSH. FSRH Letter of Competence SDI and BASHH qualifications are desirable. We are looking for an individual who can evidence relevant experience in a sexual health/contraception role with associated skills and knowledge. This job is mostly based at Lincoln but there will be an expectation to travel and cover other areas when needed, therefore ability to travel and support other clinics in Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire is essential. Support B5 nurses, medical and nursing students, trainee GPs. Provide clinical supervision, 1:1's, appraisals, Link nurse role. Contribute to teaching sessions and provide health promotion activity. Take part in audit and incident investigations. Qualified practitioners will provide telephone and face-to-face contact, physical examinations, treatments, LARC, microscopy, cryotherapy, results management, contact tracing, referral management, triage services. Supporting patients through their journey using sexual health services.
