The Opportunity:
This full time 12 month teaching and research fellowship in Christian theology is to provide cover for Dr James Eglinton during the calendar year 2025, and is enabled by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation. The appointee will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and will also be allocated time for research and professional development. It represents an outstanding opportunity for recent PhD graduates.
Your skills and attributes for success:
1. An earned doctorate in theology, completed within the previous three years (Desirable).
2. Demonstrable core competence in Christian doctrine (historical and constructive)
3. Prior experience of teaching at university (or equivalent) level
4. Excellent English language (oral and written) communication skills
5. Sensitivity to students from diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
