Role Profile
As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to meet client needs. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, and ensure a seamless and positive recruitment experience. This role requires a proactive approach, creativity in sourcing, and the ability to meet targets in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Client Delivery:
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to offer management.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions while providing expert guidance on the contingent workforce hiring process.
* Manage the contingent worker process including but not limited to worker requisition, onboarding, assignment management, time and expenses management and offboarding.
* Maintain and update worker assignments to reflect appropriate changes in the vendor management system (VMS).
* Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and assess candidate suitability against position criteria.
* Design and execute sourcing strategies across various channels, including direct sourcing, job boards, social media, and networking.
* Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring a positive experience from application to onboarding.
* Produce and present recruitment activity reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* Leverage talent insights and market data to inform recruitment strategies, enabling hiring managers to make data-driven decisions and optimise talent acquisition outcomes.
* Meet and exceed KPIs, including time-to-hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction metrics.
Key Requirements
* Proven end-to-end recruitment experience with a track record of achieving targets
* Extensive experience hiring contingent workers within the life sciences/biotech industry is essential
* Strong knowledge of UK / European employment laws and regulations related to the contingent workforce such as IR35 and Statement of Works (SOW)
* Proficiency in using a vendor management system (VMS) and other recruitment technologies.
* Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
* Proficiency in CV screening, interviewing and designing selection processes.
* Creative and resourceful in developing sourcing strategies.
* Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse and report on recruitment activity.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
