National Sales Manager
Area: Hereford - Office based.
The Role of National Sales Manager
1. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a national team of internal and external sales people to ensure they meet individual and team sales targets.
2. One-on-One Development: Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to provide personalized feedback, support professional development, and set actionable goals.
3. Joint Client Visits: Accompany the Key Accounts Manager on joint sales calls and client meetings to the companies 'Major’ accounts, to support and enhance these key customer relationships.
4. Performance Management: Regularly review and assess team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive success.
5. Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and guidance on best practices for specification sales, project management, and client engagement.
6. Working closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts and marketing campaigns on both products and services.
7. Pipeline Management: Ensure the team maintains a strong and consistent sales pipeline, while tracking progress and ensuring we are always closing the deals.
