Job Summary
We are excited to be recruiting a Band 7 Clinical Team Manager to join our Mood, Emotions, and Relationships Pathway within Children and Family Health Devon. This full-time role is based in North Devon, supporting the delivery of high-quality, integrated mental health care for children and young people experiencing difficulties with mood, emotions, and relationships.

As Clinical Team Manager, you will provide operational and clinical leadership, ensuring the effective day-to-day management of a multi-disciplinary team, overseeing care delivery, workforce management, and service development. We also recognise the importance of maintaining clinical practice and are happy to support the successful candidate in retaining a clinical caseload alongside CPD opportunities to enhance professional development.

Main duties of the job:
* Provide operational leadership and management for the MERs team, ensuring the effective delivery of care and treatment.
* Supervise and support a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, including nurses, therapists, psychologists, and support staff.
* Oversee team performance, ensuring service delivery meets clinical standards, quality benchmarks, and performance targets.
* Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring care is delivered in a timely, effective, and evidence-based manner.
* Support recruitment, training, and workforce development, ensuring the team is well-resourced and supported.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, maintaining a safe and responsive service for children, young people, and families.
* Work in partnership with other services, including CAMHS, education, social care, and voluntary sector organisations, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
* Contribute to service improvement, shaping the development of the MERs pathway to meet the needs of the local population.

About Us:
Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) comprises an Alliance of NHS organisations working together to improve health outcomes for children and young people in Devon. CFHD provides integrated care and treatment for children and young people across physical and mental health which are provided by Torbay and South Devon Foundation Trust and Devon Partnership Trust. We are working closely with other organisations and providers to ensure we deliver locality and county-wide based integrated access to all of our services, based on the i-Thrive Framework.
CFHD works closely with our local universities of Plymouth, Exeter & the Peninsula Medical School where we support students in clinical training placements and in addition support our own staff to undertake post graduate training.
Our integrated care and treatment has been developed and refined in partnership with children, young people and their families/carers.
