Activus Recruitment seeks a highly qualified and experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join a leading construction and concrete specialist based in Aberdeenshire. This role involves managing multiple clients across the UK, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site audits and inspections, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
* Develop and implement health & safety policies, procedures, and documentation
* Advise clients on compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and industry standards
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
* Deliver training sessions and workshops on health & safety best practices
* Assist clients with ISO Integrated Management Systems, including audits
* Develop and implement emergency response plans
* Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
Personal Requirements:
* NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management Qualification
* Proven experience in a health & safety advisory or audit role
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, including CDM 2015
* Experience with internal and external audits (advantageous)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience delivering staff training (advantageous)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
