About the Role: Due to growth, I am looking for an internal recruiter to join my Talent and Resourcing Team based out of our offices in Preston The team are responsible for Recruitment of staff across the business from Scotland to the South of England. We are looking for a candidate who has internal recruitment or external agency experience who understands the role of a recruitment and is seeking a great opportunity to work in the team. Location: Preston (two office locations) – Hybrid – travel to various sites as required Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week (8-4) – flexibility required Salary: £26500 - £28500 Responsibilities – but not limited to: Sourcing of candidates Interviewing Candidates/prescreening/attending selection panels Onboarding and follow up Supporting line managers and meeting to understand the recruitment needs throughout the business (nationwide) Liasing internally and external with staff and professional bodies (veterans societies, government schemes universities and colleges etc) Diary Management, Administration and carrying out employment checks Assisting in training managers with talent process and involvement in coaching Assisting the Head of Talent on improving campaigns, procedures and policies Attending job fairs, schools and colleges Involvement and management of apprenticeship programmes and assisting the HR team and Learning and Development with associated administration Data reporting for MI - Excel skills essential Assisting marketing with advertising vacancies/social media and intranet Assistance with ad-hoc projects/duties may be required to support the business Experience and qualifications required for the role: Previous recruitment and resourcing experience is essential Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation The ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team Confidentiality & discretion and displays high levels of diplomacy Adaptability – can adapt style to suit audience and can cope with change Ability to work at pace and on a number of demanding projects at one time Car Driver is essential to visit sites on occasions throughout the uk What we offer: 24 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays Pension Death in service Free on site parking The Lanes Group plc comprises of a range of established service providers subsidiaries, which complement the specialist service of Lanes, by both work type and geography.
