We're seeking an Innovation Coordinator to join our project teams in Belfast. You'll work cross-functionally to support key partnerships, leading small to medium projects and assisting with larger initiatives. This dynamic role involves analysing business processes, creating feasibility studies and readiness toolkits, improving operations, and managing stakeholder relationships. We're looking for someone with a passion for technology, who is proactive, adaptable, and ready to drive digital transformation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)
* Supporting the planning and delivery of Innovation Services and Programmes at Digital Catapult. Responsibilities will include event planning; research and sourcing of speakers, subject-matter experts, and start-ups; workshops, meetups, Communities of Practices, invitation management; event delivery; preparation of briefing documents and presentation slides, workshop facilitation and post-event packs.
* Working on a variety of projects and events across technologies and industries that engage start-ups and scaleups with larger industry players and research organisations.
* Working with internal and external experts and stakeholders to support the delivery of workshops at the cutting edge of technology innovation, across a variety of advanced digital technology themes (IoT, 5G, AR/VR, AI, Blockchain, Quantum) and industry sectors (in particular manufacturing and creative).
* Communication with a focus on startups and SMEs and some level of correspondence with funders, sponsors and project partners.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Experience)
* Proven experience in being involved in large externally facing projects.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and applying them to manage project delivery.
* Strong skills in stakeholder management, including communicating effectively with diverse internal and external partners.
* Knowledge of innovation methodologies and industry experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to handle complex and competing workloads while driving collaborative outcomes in fast-changing settings.
* Experience in facilitation and accelerators is highly desirable.
