Description Account Director, Select (FTC) Reporting of the Role This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Select Location UK - Field Based - must have a driving license Overview of job As an Account Director within the Select Team, you will manage Global’s highest spending clients and accounts in Local Sales and are responsible for selling our full product portfolio to new customers, and growing and retaining our existing customer base, across the private and public sector markets. You are an ambassador of Global and a specialist in the knowledge of our Radio, Digital and Outdoor products, inventory and brands. 3 best things about the job Exposure to a variety of UK industries; our portfolio has options for everyone, so you will be pitching to marketeers and business owners from all industries You will be responsible for managing your own client portfolio, being in control of your own destiny and the chance to scope out your own niche You will be a client facing ambassador of Global, representing the most iconic transport system in the UK, the coolest brands in audio, and the award winning digital ad exchange Measures of success – In the first few months, you would have : Become a specialist in the knowledge of our Radio, Digital and Outdoor products, inventory and brands Be able to effectively plan and book a client’s campaign in our booking systems Understand your market place and develop a contact list to grow your existing clients, and source new business Responsibilities of the role Work with a list of Global’s largest regional businesses, growing their revenue and improving their value. Establish a clear growth/value plan that outlines a strategic approach. Build an annual revenue plan that reflects the business objectives and review monthly. Identify and win ‘new’ clients that can be brought in to Global from across the region via Social Media channels. Work with Global’s Local Sales team to assist the win of new high value clients. Deliver outstanding customer service, building client relationships to gain continuous business and referrals. Plan and prioritise your working day to improve your selling opportunities. Achieve all critical metrics and be able to accurately forecast opportunities at the required level to meet your targets set, ensure all activity is accurately recorded on Salesforce. Be proactive in Salesforce management daily - Pipeline / forecasting. Submit high quality requests and big 5 briefs to the Campaign Hub and attend big 5 brainstorm sessions. Be able to effectively plan and book a client’s campaign in gPlan. Be an expertise in understanding Global’s full suite of products and how they can help clients achieve their campaign objectives. Adhere to credit policy at all times and ensure discounting is kept to an absolute minimum. Invest in self-development, attend all relevant training opportunities, and look to progress to being a people manager of the future Actively stay on top of all internal communications such as Workplace, The Catch Up & Digital Bytes. Assist in mentoring and coaching Account Managers across our teams as required Ability to effectively deputise for the Regional Sales Manager What you will need The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following: Experienced in selling to all business types at the highest level. Complete understanding of the pattern of the sale from opening to close and able to use this to mentor others. Driven and results oriented attitude with the ability and desire to self-generate new business leads and meetings.
