Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with a Public Sector Organisation in Gloucestershire which is looking to recruit a Senior Communications Officer on an interim basis for 4 months initially. This role involves leading integrated communications support for the One Programme, with a focus on the One SAP. You will work across multiple workstreams, partners, and communication channels (media, marketing, digital, design, consultation, and internal comms) to engage a broad range of stakeholders. Your responsibilities include creating and delivering communication campaigns, developing content (e.g., photography, audio, video), managing the OneHub website, and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with workstream leads to align communications with strategic outcomes. Deliver integrated communications and campaigns to support programme objectives. Recommend effective communications tools and channels based on evidence and audience insights. Create engaging content and evaluate its effectiveness. Manage the OneHub website (SharePoint) and enhance user experience. Mentor and support colleagues to build skills across communications disciplines. Ideal Candidate: Proven success in leading digital, media, marketing, and internal communications campaigns. Experience in managing stakeholder communications, especially in a political environment. Expertise in briefing elected members and presenting sensitive information. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Proficient in IT systems (e.g., Office365, SharePoint, social media, basic video/image editing tools) and web content writing for SEO and accessibility.
