Quattro Resourcing are on the hunt for a motivated individual who can think creatively to solve problems to join our client's team as their Operations Manager. You must have experience in a busy warehouse environment, preferably in the hire/events sector. You will be skilled at team-working and motivating a team to meet tight deadlines. You will be interested in innovating and developing our processes to make them the best in the industry.

Job Summary
The Operations Manager will be a key link between our client's hire and project management teams to the warehouse & transport teams. You will provide line management for the warehouse supervisors and their teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Equipment going on-hire and being returned on time and to quality standards.
2. Planning staffing levels to ensure that staff are deployed to maximise productivity, equipment availability and quality of preparation.
3. Arranging/recruiting additional temporary or permanent staff to ensure correct staffing levels are maintained.
4. Horizon scanning to spot busy periods and planning to maintain our high standards throughout these periods.
5. Arranging transport runs and producing route sheets for our in-house drivers.
6. Using your problem-solving ability to find the most cost-effective solutions to challenges.
7. Implementing a program of continuous improvement and training to ensure that our team, processes and equipment are the best in the industry.
8. Providing hands-on assistance to the warehouse teams during peak periods.
9. Liaising with the Workshop Team to ensure equipment availability.
The role requires a diligent, organised, and enthusiastic person who is willing to work up to our client's exacting standards. You will have excellent people skills and will enjoy working together with other teams to deliver an award-winning service. The role requires you to be dependable, to work with integrity and to have excellent attention to detail.
You will provide leadership and quality control to the activities of the warehouse, especially during our busiest periods. You will research and implement improved systems of working. You will solve problems and suggest improvements to avoid them recurring.
You will need the ability to be flexible to work paid overtime and undertake other duties as required. Due to the nature of our client's business and customer requirements, hours will be varied with weekend and unsocial hours to be expected during peak times.
This will primarily be an office-based job but at times will require a hands-on approach on site. You will be based in our client's Peterborough HQ.

3. Ensure equipment is returned from hire and necessary maintenance is carried out efficiently.
4. Carry out forward planning to ensure staff and resources are correctly deployed.
5. Mentor members of the Warehouse and Transport Teams to improve their knowledge and skills.
