Youth Elements is a youth-led organisation based in Longsight, Manchester. Our mission is to empower young people through engaging activities, community involvement, and peer-led initiatives. We provide a safe, inclusive space where young people can explore their potential and develop essential life skills.
Role Purpose
We are seeking experienced and qualified Freelance Youth Workers to join our team and deliver face-to-face youth work at our vibrant open-access youth club. You will work primarily during evening sessions, providing a safe and welcoming environment for young people aged 11–18. This role also includes delivering activities during school holidays and occasional weekends.
The role requires candidates who can build positive relationships with young people, deliver engaging programs, and maintain high safeguarding standards.
* Facilitate a variety of activities, including creative arts, sports, and personal development workshops.
* Deliver youth club sessions three evenings per week (2.5 hours each) and additional activities during school holidays and weekends as needed.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Safeguarding and Wellbeing
* Follow Youth Elements’ safeguarding policies and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young people.
* Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, escalating them in line with organisational procedures.
Collaboration and Development
* Work collaboratively with the Youth Elements team and other freelance workers.
* Provide feedback to improve programmes and adapt activities to meet the needs of young people.
* Stay informed about the challenges young people face and tailor youth work approaches accordingly.

Then there will be additional youth clubs for set groups junior and senior club, specialised workshops/ projects. Also programs over the school holidays.
