Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Head of Retail to lead and manage the retail Sales growth, team development and operations across our prestigious locations at Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Harrods Pharmacy. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive performance, manage high-performing teams, and foster strategic relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, negotiating key business partnerships, and identifying and securing new retail opportunities to expand the brand's presence and reach.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and manage diverse retail teams across multiple locations, ensuring they deliver an exceptional customer experience.
* Identify and engage with new retail business opportunities and partnerships to expand brand presence and revenue streams.
* Lead negotiations with retail Beauty Directors and Buyers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
* Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring efficient processes, high standards of visual merchandising, and operational excellence.
* Ensure continued team development and succession planning to minimise staff turnover.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, customer-centricity, and excellence across all retail teams.
* Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to negotiate favourable terms and secure new opportunities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in similar senior role, with multi-site responsibility and large remote teams ideally in high-end or luxury retail environments. Beauty or Skincare experience a bonus.
* Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive results.
* Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing high-value partnerships and business deals.
* In-depth understanding of retail operations, budgeting, forecasting, and stock management.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to identify market opportunities, create strategies, and implement successful retail campaigns.
