Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, dependable, trustworthy, reliable individual to join Bridgebank Plant Ltd as a Plant Workshop Administrator.
The role includes administrative support of all aspects of workshop activities covering the logistics, transportation, maintenance, and repair of the company's mobile plant and fleet of commercial vehicles, in compliance with the company's Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Specific Duties:
* Daily route planning (Transport Moves).
* Prioritise and allocate job cards to mobile fitters.
* With Workshop Plant Manager, regularly update and publish diary of vehicles and plant for scheduled workshop based maintenance, servicing, MOTs and repairs.
* Add costings to job cards and maintain Damage and Repair Log.
* Input jobs into Syrinx.
* Maintain mileage logs (commercial vehicles) and hours logs (plant – dumpers, rollers, etc).
* Arrange HGV inspections to comply with VOSA requirements.
* Arrange and keep records of annual kit inspections.
* Monitor van movements and driver updates - Tracker / Database & Redsky.
* Arrange lorry chain & sling inspections (6 monthly) and equipment calibrations.
* Invoicing of costs incurred for equipment still under warranty.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
* Fluent in written and spoken English (GCSE in English or equivalent preferred).
* Good numeracy skills (GCSE in Maths or equivalent preferred).
* Good telephone manner.
* Competent in use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary dependent on experience.
* 29 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays.
