We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join our team of Bathroom & Tile experts. The successful candidate will be working within a busy office environment at our head office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, alongside our sales and marketing teams.
The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills as well as previous sales and telephone experience. Experience in the bathroom or tile industry would be extremely advantageous.
You will be responsible for taking care of several trade accounts as well as dealing directly with end users, who can be store or online customers. Reporting to the team supervisor, you will help with a number of day-to-day tasks, so a positive ‘can-do’ attitude is a must for this position. Whilst not exhaustive, the role and responsibilities are listed below.
Key responsibilities
1. Being the first point of contact for incoming calls.
2. Processing verbal, emailed and online orders.
3. Arranging, managing and tracking deliveries.
4. Liaising with other internal departments and external companies to ensure a good customer experience.
5. Customer service enquiries, dealing with product issues for both trade and public.
6. Dealing with customer complaints with the support of your management team.
7. Working closely with our external sales teams - helping with their orders and enquiries.
8. Proactive selling to our current customers when required.
Required skills:
1. At least 1 year of sales/admin office experience.
2. To be able to manage a busy email inbox.
3. To have an excellent phone manner, along with great verbal and written skills.
4. Exceptional customer service skills.
5. Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
6. Experience working as part of a closely-knit team.
7. Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
8. Be presentable and enthusiastic when at work.
