I am a UK-based counselling psychologist with a medical and research background. My main modality is schema therapy—an integrative approach addressing the traumatic experiences of my neurodivergent clients and giving me the flexibility to attune to their special needs while staying systematic and goal-directed. Training in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as EMDR and ACT allows me to blend them to achieve more stable effects. In addition to individual therapy, I offer relationship counselling and support for families of neurodivergent children.
As a therapist, I am empathetic and warm but also persistent. Being a neuroscientist with rich experience in neuropsychological rehabilitation, I am good at understanding those with a divergent brain, addressing the challenges of being different but also celebrating our uniqueness, and helping with both emotional and cognitive difficulties. My medical background, along with training in psychology, enables me to deal with complex cases such as cPTSD, resistant depression, and eating disorders.
I am registered with the HCPC as a psychologist (registration number PYL044166) and accredited by the ISST in individual schema therapy (membership number 60360358).
