The CAE Business in the UK has rapidly grown to a £4m business in the last 5 years, and we are now looking to recruit a technical specialist within our Pre-Sales team. We are looking for an energised, professional, motivated engineer to join Emixa UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the account and enterprise management team in the sales of Simcenter Structures to new business and the existing customer base.
For this pre-sales position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Experience working in a re-seller environment, preferably with a general knowledge of Simcenter Products across its entire range of capability, with a deeper knowledge of at least two specialisms from Non-Linear FEA, Multiphysics, CFD, 1D Simulation.
* Degree qualified or equivalent in an Engineering Degree.
* At least 4 years’ experience of working in a product engineering environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to hold meetings and discussions with a high level of technical credibility based around the Simcenter Solutions.
* Some experience working in a pre-sales environment would be beneficial as the role will include:
o Presenting software solutions to all levels from designer to board level.
o Demonstrating software processes and solutions, sometimes using customer data.
o Delivering training courses on-site or at customers.
o Providing technical support.
o Presenting at our technical events such as CAE Expo and Digital University.
* Pro-active and confident candidates with strong problem-solving skills.
* Professional appearance and presentation.
* Flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required.
* A full driving license, valid in the UK.
