Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent HR/Corporate Services Manager, working for a client located in Chester-Le=-Street. This is a newly created role which is pivotal to the success of the business. The role requires a detailed, focused individual who has the goals and mission of the organisation at the heart of everything they do.Reporting to the Employment and Skills Director, interacting with managers and staff across the whole organisation; you will create reports on the area of responsibility for both Senior Management and Governance meetings. This role can be a full-time or part-time role (probably 3 days per week). HR/Corporate Services Manager Main Duties & Responsibilities: To work with line managers and Senior Management Team on all HR mattersTo maintain an awareness of current employment legislation and advise line managers accordinglyResponsibility for writing and updating of company policies and proceduresEnsure all monthly one to one staff meetings are carried out by line managersTake responsibility for all staff recruitment, ensuring safer recruitment practices are followedResponsibility for premises/facilitiesInduction of new staff membersResponsibility for overseeing holiday requests and approvals HR/Corporate Services Manager Applicants: Ideally CIPD qualified and/or considerable relative experienceOperated within a standalone HR/Corporate Services roleStrong HR generalist backgroundTrack record of delivering employee engagement initiativesAbility to drive resultsSafer recruitment experienceCreative thinker who is detail orientedAbility to run a number of projects and deliver on timeExcellent time management and communication skillsStrong organisational and analytical skillsExperience of handling disciplinary meetingsProactive and innovative HR Professional with a clear understanding of how to drive i.e., performance through peopleAbility to see the bigger picture while being aware of the commercial requirements of the organisationExceptional management skillsTenacious attitude to achieving targets and organisational goalsAbility to plan, implement and evaluateWillingness to travel to other sites if requiredSubject to a basic DBS check Salary is £35, to £40, (pro-rata), dependent on experience.
