Overview :
NextGen Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Drama Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and facilitate their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education while adapting to the diverse needs of students.
Duties:
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
* Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
* Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all learners.
* Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights for improving student outcomes.
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational abilities to manage lesson planning, grading, and administrative tasks efficiently.
* Patience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students in a dynamic classroom setting.
* Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes, including digital learning tools and resources.
* A genuine passion for education, particularly drama studies, and a commitment to fostering a love of learning among students.
* A recognised PGCE/QTS and certificate
