We are currently recruiting to expand our housing and delegate management team working on a client dedicated account for a global management consulting firm. We are looking for a Project Consultant to work within this team under the team manager to deliver all housing and delegate management needs for our client’s events. As an integral part of this team, you will be responsible for management of attendees to the clients’ events including accommodation and general registration management.
You will have experience of working in either housing contracting or experience of project management for hotel reservations and/or delegate registrations. You will also be comfortable working with databases / registration platforms in order to extract and interrogate data. You will have strong attention to detail and time management skills.
As a Project Consultant, you will:
* Manage and be accountable for a specific housing & delegate management related projects for a dedicated client, ensuring full understanding of the overall project and first-class delivery in a structured and timely manner, ensuring the client expectations are met at all times
* Ensure that all project elements function effectively and offer a professional service to both internal and external clients
* Prepare regular reports and documentation in providing status updates from extracting data from the relevant systems
* Contribute accommodation and delegate management expertise to the creation and implementation of Statements of Work (SoWs) – including demonstration of clear understanding of Client’s requirements, accurately agree the specifics of accommodation deliverables, services to be provided, costs, hotel contract timelines/issues and resource parameters
* Manage or assist in the smooth delivery of onsite housing and delegate management services including preparation of on-site housing and delegate management systems and documents, ensuring that the client expectations are met at all time (both in the UK and overseas)
* Have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines while prioritising your workload and being able to adopt to ever changing circumstances
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with your team and the client
* Smooth running and day to day management of events, including management of the project email inboxes
* Communicating with team members and the client in a calm, proactive and collaborative way
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail while displaying a professional attitude at all times
* Experience and knowledge of hotel contracts and / or experience in project management for hotel reservations or delegate registrations

You should know:
* This role will be a hybrid role that requires 2 days a week in our Fleet office.
* Our standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour break
* You must have the ability to travel within the UK and overseas
