Driver Essential? Yes, a confident driver with their own car to travel to and from the client’s home. Automatic vehicle provided for use while on duty.

Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 30.5 Hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9.00am to 4.30pm and Saturday: 10.00am to 6.00pm. Additional shift on a Friday once a month to attend a social group in London: 9.30am to 4.30pm (This is offered as overtime, or you are welcome to swap a shift) Some flexibility required around shift times to accommodate appointments / pre-arranged plans.

About this client: Josie is a fabulous 30-year-old, with a love for travelling, going to the cinema, browsing local shops, socialising with her friends and spending time with her family. She has really been enjoying getting creative and loves scrapbooking and all things arts and crafts! Josie sustained an ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) in early childhood, and as a result has associated cognitive impairments, including impaired balance, a visual impairment, and struggles with short term memory, fatigue levels, and executive function. Josie has a team of private therapists and works extremely hard on her rehabilitation; she continues to make remarkable progress. She lives in her own flat independently, although she is due to move to her new home in the coming months. Josie has a close relationship with her Mum and Stepdad, they live locally and enjoy popping in for a catch up!
Overview of role: Josie’s PA will provide practical support with managing life admin and support with planning her weekly routine. Josie likes to keep busy, and has a good routine in place, her diary is usually packed with activities, trips or holidays away, and appointments and check-ups. Josie, with the support of her therapy team and diet nutritionist, is focused on leading a healthier lifestyle, another focus for Josie is to expand her social group and friendships; the PA will support Josie to achieve these goals. Josie requires her PA to give gentle reminders to keep on top of daily life and run her household. It is paramount Josie’s PA enables and facilitates; she leads an independent life and enjoys her independence.
Who this job would suit: Due to the location, you must be a driver with your own car (limited public transport links available). The job will suit someone positive, supportive, full of enthusiasm and shares a love of travel and crafting.
