Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a full-time Solicitor/Legal Executive for our Private Client team. Previous Private Client experience is desirable, but consideration will be given to candidates who are the right fit, even without Private Client experience.
We are looking for a Solicitor who is able to take on new work and assist in developing the team through marketing and technical knowledge-sharing. The role will be initially office-based with the potential for some remote working at a later stage, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Managing your allocated cases to a successful conclusion, which includes:
1. Taking instructions and general liaison with the client to keep them updated.
2. Arranging the opening of the client file and all immediate and ongoing necessary regulatory and administrative steps, such as AML checks, sending the TOB letter, and complying with SRA and LQS/Office Manual requirements.
3. Researching the legal position, advising the client, conducting negotiations, and preparing all necessary documents and forms to progress and finalize the case in accordance with the client’s instructions.
4. Recording key dates centrally and making suitable arrangements to ensure cases can be managed appropriately in your absence, in liaison with your supervising partner.
5. Recording time spent appropriately and taking all necessary steps regarding securing payment of disbursements incurred and costs, including requesting monies on account, issuing interim and final bills, and following up on unpaid bills.
2. Assisting other fee-earners and partners in the department with their allocated cases, as required.
3. Assisting with marketing the department by attending marketing events and developing your own client base, including cross-referring work to other departments when appropriate.
4. Carrying out such other duties as are required and consistent with your role as a Solicitor, your employment contract, and professional standards.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
