This ambitious project will include mixed-use residential, commercial, and public spaces, and the company needs a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to help bring this vision to life.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the project team, working on the full lifecycle of the regeneration project-from pre-construction through to completion. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for:
* Cost Management: Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for various phases of the project.
* Contract Administration: Managing contracts and liaising with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
* Risk Management: Identifying potential cost risks and providing solutions to mitigate them.
* Reporting: Producing regular reports on project progress, cost status, and financial performance.
* Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the project.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is highly desirable).
* Proven experience in quantity surveying, ideally with a focus on large-scale, mixed-use or regeneration projects.
* Strong knowledge of cost management processes, contract law, and procurement practices.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
* The ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
