Science Technician

Are you passionate about science and eager to support exciting laboratory work? We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dynamic team, starting in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments.
* Ensure the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist teaching staff with practical experiments and demonstrations across biology, chemistry, and physics.
* Maintain accurate records of stock levels and order necessary supplies.
* Monitor and ensure the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
* Support health and safety standards within the lab, adhering to all relevant guidelines.
Requirements:
* A background in science (minimum GCSE/A-Level or equivalent qualification in a science subject).
* Experience working in a laboratory or technical support role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations within a lab environment.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
