The Role:
An Automation Manufacturing company is looking for a Service Manager who will oversee the Aftercare division, managing all aspects of aftercare operations, including generating quotations, ordering parts, scheduling engineers, determining routing, and prioritizing jobs.
This role involves upselling additional services, reviewing technical catalogues, and maintaining effective communication with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient after-sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement service standards and procedures for the service delivery department.
2. Set up and maintain the service desk.
3. Schedule engineering manpower.
4. Supervise team members within the service delivery team.
5. Maintain customer relationships and improve response and delivery times.
6. Update service methods to improve overall efficiency.
7. Resolve service problems and customer complaints.
8. Conduct periodic appraisals of team members and identify areas for improvement.
9. Create and present regular reports to senior management.
