Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Contract - Renewable Energy

To help with our expansion, we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the contract business. This team didn't exist 14 months ago and is already a team of 9!
Main Responsibilities:
* This is a 360 recruitment role where you will be responsible for business development, finding candidates and matching them to specific roles
* Making sales calls to new clients to build new relationships
* Booking & attending meetings with clients, both virtual and in person
* Attending industry conferences globally to meet new clients & candidates
* Utilise various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, databases, and networking to identify potential contractors
* Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future contract roles
* Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for specific contract positions
* Evaluate candidates' qualifications against job requirements and client needs
* Manage relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process
* Prepare candidates for interviews and follow up after interviews to gather feedback
* Present shortlisted candidates to clients and coordinate interviews
* Ensure all candidate documentation is complete and compliant with legal and company requirements
* Manage contract offers and negotiations between candidates and clients
* Handle administrative tasks related to onboarding, such as background checks and employment paperwork
* Address any issues that arise with contract placements, including candidate performance or client satisfaction
About you
* You’ll be ambitious, driven and eager to learn / progress
* You will have a good academic record
* Sales experience would be useful but is not essential, we are hiring on attitude and attributes above all else
* Self-motivated, whilst being able to handle objections and rejection and having the tenacity to bounce back
* An interest in the renewable energy industry would be a huge advantage to help you excel in your career
