The Role
In this role, you’ll ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly and safely. You’ll manage raw materials, labour, equipment, and the safe operation of your area while supporting production. Using your expertise in Production and Packing, you’ll collaborate with teams to meet food quality standards, prioritize safety, and lead innovative projects. Your work will create a safer, more efficient workplace and drive meaningful results.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 05:00 - 13:00 / 13:00 - 21:00 Rotating on a Weekly Basis.
Hourly Pay: £12.20 per hour

Key Accountabilities
1. Ensure company and customer specifications are met.
2. Train as a relief PCO to stand in and cover as required.
3. Liaise with the Management on site for any safety reasonable requests.
4. Responsible for own health and safety in area in line with company procedures from handbooks, signage, induction, notifications and training documentation.
5. Reporting any safety, health or environmental incidents without delay to Line Manager.
6. The active health, safety and environmental improvement of the area in which you operate within.
7. Ensuring area complies with high safety standards and takes active participation in health, safety and environmental audits.
8. Championing clean as you go practices and good manufacturing practices in the area you operate within.
9. The active hygiene improvement of the line and the team's area in which you operate within.
10. Ensuring area complies with high hygiene standards and takes active participation in hygiene and food safety audits.
11. Ensuring machinery food safety and quality checks are completed in line with company protocol contributing to a positive food safety culture.
Skills And Experience Required
1. Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent)
2. Ability to work with peers in a matrix structure to draw in external skills to achieve local goals
3. Track record of delivery
4. A personal commitment to role model behaviours
5. Previous experience of checking and completing paperwork to a highly accurate standard.
