Role: Outreach Behaviour Specialist
Salary: £83 - £95 per day
Contract: Long-Term Temporary with potential for permanency
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
Are you passionate about supporting young people in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential? A specialist provision in Reading is looking for a dedicated Outreach Behaviour Specialist to provide tailored support to students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
This role involves:
1. Providing intervention support to students, both in school and within outreach settings.
2. Using restorative approaches to build strong, trusting relationships with young people.
3. Supporting students in managing their emotions and behaviour, promoting resilience and self-confidence.
4. Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and external agencies to implement behaviour strategies.
5. Using creative approaches, including sports, mentoring, and structured activities, to engage students in their learning.
Who We're Looking For:
No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. However, this role would be ideal for someone with a background in education, youth work, coaching, or behavioural support. Strong communication skills, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting young people are essential.
