This job is part of the Building Consultancy function. They are responsible for specialist building services including surveying, inspections, and planning. What You'll Do: - Manage all facets of cost management for single real estate projects throughout the planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. - Assess basic project scope and client needs to develop and present recommended budgets for necessary pre-bid and pre-construction cost estimating and cost planning services. - Partner with project teams to source and oversee the pre-bid and pre-construction services associated with the development of a project budget and cost plan. - Work with the client and Project Managers to ensure all work is funded in compliance with the client's internal policies. - Ensure all contracts include required language aligned with lease requirements for the solicitation of all landlord contributions. - Review and report all bid responses to the client. Include recommendations for items such as allowances, contingencies, and reserves. - Align cost plan with project master schedule. Establish a strategy to manage cash flows and project accruals and report progress. - Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. - Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. - Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. - Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. - Work within broad guidelines and policies. - Explain difficult or sensitive information. What You'll Need: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. - Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. - Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
