The sessional requirement for the post will be 2.5 sessions (10 hours per week). The post holders will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for a dedicated portfolio of work. Portfolios will be developed in the following areas:
1. Education & Training
2. Climate & Sustainability

4. Clinical Governance
This post would suit aspiring GPs seeking to develop a portfolio career and to influence the development of community services across North Highland.
Post holders will understand and have an interest in the development of local services, and particularly in developing relationships with local clinicians and teams.
Opportunities exist to develop a portfolio career and combine this role with GP sessions across various GP practices in the Highlands. These include rural locations such as Tongue, Armadale, Scourie, Kinlochbervie and Durness on the North coast of Sutherland; Wick and Thurso in Caithness; and Alness and Invergordon in Easter Ross (a 30-minute drive north of Inverness).
A full, current driving licence is essential as the roles cover a large geographical area, although much of the work can be done remotely from home.
