Whitecliffs is a Residential Service with 13 service users who have learning and physical disabilities. The service is located in Dover, and it is close to public transport with lots of onsite parking. The service supports 13 service users, 10 of which are Male and 3 whom are female, ages of the service users range between 24 to 67. Whitecliffs Lodge and Court is compromised of two buildings; The lodge is a residential complex with individual rooms with ensuites, communal kitchen diner and lounge. We have some fantastic spaces available in the lodge including a sensory bathroom with jacuzzi bath, indoor cinema room with over 150 DVDs to choose from and we have a game room which is in the process of being completed. Whitecliffs Lodge has just been newly decorated throughout bringing the out doors in with the theme. Within the garden of the lodge we have some beautiful open spaces with a tranquil pergola where people can sit and enjoy the wildlife that enters the garden and lots of garden games and more. The main feature of the garden is our newly built and designed activities room fully functioning to do arts and crafts, planting and potting, afternoon tea experiences and much more. Whitecliffs Court is compromised of 6 self contained flats where we support people to learn and build upon current or new life skills. Whitecliffs Court has been decorated throughout again bringing the outdoor in with the running theme. All flats have been newly decorated and personalised to a high standard. Whitecliffs court does have a large open garden which is due to be re landscaped in the coming year to give the people we support new spaces and experiences to enjoy the outdoors. To work as part of a team to provide high quality care. Personal Characteristics Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one. Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. The ability to keep calm under pressure.
