As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of our client by analysing complex data, maintaining high standards in financial reporting, and driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for:
1. Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
2. Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
3. Preparing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
4. Managing cash flow and preparing cash flow reports, contributing to effective cash management.
5. Collaborating with team members to adapt to changing priorities and ensure timely task completion.
6. Communicating financial information clearly and effectively, tailoring your approach to the audience's needs.
7. Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and consistent work styles.
8. Utilising accounting software and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage and report financial information.
Experience:
We are looking for someone with the following experience:
1. Essential: Relevant experience in accounting roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
2. Essential: Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
3. Essential: Experience in statutory accounting, compliance, cash management, and cash flow reporting.
4. Essential: Qualified or currently studying towards an accountancy qualification, or possessing equivalent relevant experience.
5. Desirable: A degree in accounting or finance is desirable, but not essential.
